PACE began with a small group going door to door and school to school in Lahore, talking about waste, water, and air quality. That is still the core of what we do, just at a larger scale now. We are not a research institute and we do not lobby government. We work directly with the people who will be living with these problems for the next thirty years, and we try to give them something useful to do about it.
